- Accumulator
- A bet that combines multiple selections into one; the payout grows as each selection wins.
- Asian Handicap
- A spread betting system that eliminates the draw outcome and gives each team a handicap.
- Bankroll
- The total amount of money you have set aside for betting.
- Bonus Rollover
- The total amount a player must wager before a bonus becomes withdrawable, often expressed as a multiple of the bonus.
- Cash Out
- A feature that lets you settle a bet before the event ends, locking in a profit or limiting a loss.
- Cashback
- A promotion that returns a portion of your losses as bonus funds.
- Free Bet
- A promotion that gives you a no‑risk wager; any winnings are paid out, but the stake is not returned.
- Futures
- Bets placed on events that will be decided later, such as which team will win the World Cup.
- In-Play Betting
- Placing bets after a match has started, with odds that update as the game progresses.
- Juice
- The commission a sportsbook charges on a bet, usually built into the odds.
- KYC
- Know Your Customer; the process of verifying a player's identity to prevent fraud and comply with regulations.
- Lay Bet
- Betting against an outcome, essentially acting as the bookmaker; common in exchange betting.
- Moneyline
- A bet on which team will win a match outright, with odds reflecting the favorite and underdog.
- Over/Under
- A bet on whether the total number of goals or points in a match will be over or under a set line.
- Parlay
- A single bet that links two or more selections; all must win for the bet to pay out.
- Point Spread
- A handicap applied to the favorite to level the playing field, requiring them to win by a certain margin.
- Provably Fair
- A system that lets players verify that each game result was random and not manipulated.
- Push
- When a bet lands exactly on the line, resulting in a tie and the stake being returned.
- RTP
- The percentage of total bets a game returns to players over time; higher RTP means better odds for the player.
- Self-Exclusion
- A tool that allows players to temporarily or permanently block their own accounts from betting.
- Stake
- The amount of money you wager on a single bet.
- Value Bet
